This policy explains what information is collected when you use PortoTour.com, and how it is used.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name or contact details unless you email us. If you do, we use your message only to reply to you.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. These are used to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies and analytics
We may use Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies to collect anonymous usage information. We do not set our own advertising cookies.
Third-party services
Google Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google’s servers. Your browser sends your IP address to Google when the fonts load.
Google Translate
If you choose to translate a page, Google Translate loads in your browser and receives the page content and your IP address. Google may set cookies to remember your language choice. Nothing is sent to Google unless you open the translation menu.
Booking partners
Every page also loads a small script from GetYourGuide that recognises visits from our site, so bookings can be credited to us. It may set cookies.
When you click an affiliate link to GetYourGuide or Trip.com, you leave our site. The partner may set cookies to record that you came from us, so that we can be paid a commission if you book. Their own privacy policies apply on their websites.
Social sharing
Share buttons on our posts link to social networks. The network receives information only if you click a button.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live, including in the European Union under the GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information held about you. To make a request, contact us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we change how the site handles information. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
